Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop new menu items and ensure that all pastries are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and execute all pastry orders according to recipes and menu specifications
- Oversee the entire pastry production process from mixing ingredients to baking and plating
- Ensure that all pastries are presented in an attractive manner and meet quality standards
- Develop new pastry recipes and menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients when needed
- Train and supervise pastry assistants in proper techniques and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, desserts, and baking techniques
- Strong creativity and ability to develop new recipes
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
