Carpenter

We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be expected to read blueprints, measure and cut materials accurately, and use various power tools in your work.

To excel in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail, good knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should also possess physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings or sketches to determine specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Repair damaged or broken structures
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Skilled at using hand tools (saws, chisels) and power tools (drills)
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent
