Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Medina, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership skills to manage a team of chefs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase local and international cuisine
- Ensure high quality standards are met for all dishes served
- Manage food cost and inventory control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety procedures
- Monitor kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Collaborate with other departments to create special menus for events or promotions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in food preparation
- Oversee ordering of kitchen supplies and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian cuisine is preferred
- Proven track record of menu development, cost control, and staff management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own visa to work in Egypt
