Librarian for English-speaking Contract Position in Medina, Saudi Arabia

Join our team as a Librarian in Medina, Saudi Arabia on a contract basis. We are seeking an experienced individual with strong English language skills to manage and organize our library resources. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for cataloging books, assisting patrons with research needs, and maintaining the library's collection. This position is open to Indian nationals with their own visa and accommodation in Medina.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and catalog library resources using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with research needs and provide recommendations for resources
- Maintain the library's collection by ordering new materials and removing outdated ones
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading among the community
- Train and supervise library assistants and volunteers
- Collaborate with other departments to create educational programs and events

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a librarian in an English-speaking environment
- Strong knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience working with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own visa and accommodation in Medina
