Loader Supervisor

A reputable logistics company in Medina is seeking a highly organized and experienced Loader Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods onto trucks
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the loading process
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Train and supervise a team of loaders, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics or warehouse management is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to loading and unloading goods
- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
