Executive Chef for International Hotel in Mecca



We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious international hotel in the holy city of Mecca. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel, ensuring high-quality and diverse menu offerings that meet the expectations of our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation in all hotel outlets including restaurants, banquets, room service, and catering
- Manage and train a team of chefs and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Develop menu concepts that cater to a diverse international clientele while keeping up with current food trends
- Collaborate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and utilizing efficient cooking techniques
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless operation flow and exceptional guest experience

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines and ability to create unique dishes that cater to various dietary restrictions and preferences
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Up-to-date knowledge on food safety regulations and industry trends
- Experience in managing inventory, controlling costs, and developing budgets
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
