Restaurant Manager (Indian Cuisine) Job Description:
The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Indian restaurant located in Salalah. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring quality food and service, and maintaining a profitable business. This position requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of Indian cuisine, and experience in the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Create work schedules and manage labor costs
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of food quality and customer service
- Develop menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Monitor expenses to meet budgetary goals
- Handle customer complaints or issues with grace and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and P&L analysis
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
