Instrument Technician (Indian Nationals) - Salalah, Oman


We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Indian nationals to join our team as Instrument Technicians in Salalah, Oman. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to kickstart their career in the oil and gas industry.

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used in the production and processing of oil and gas. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and control systems. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in instrumentation technology and electrical systems. Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is not required but would be considered an asset. We are looking for individuals who possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments used in the oil and gas industry
- Conduct routine inspections of instruments and identify any potential issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure all equipment is working properly
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Technical diploma or certification in instrumentation technology or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation technology
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
