Pastry Chef
A high-end restaurant in Salalah is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. We are looking for a talented and creative individual who is passionate about creating delicious desserts and pastries. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pastry making, including knowledge of different techniques, ingredients, and flavors. Our restaurant prides itself on using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients, so a commitment to quality and sustainability is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Create unique and visually appealing dessert menus
- Prepare and bake various types of pastries, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and pies
- Decorate pastries using different methods such as piping, glazing, and molding
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Train junior pastry chefs on techniques and recipes
- Ensure all food safety standards are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of pastry making techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
