Carpenter for Construction Projects in Salalah, Oman


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team for various construction projects in Salalah, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your duties will include measuring and cutting materials according to specifications, installing wooden structures such as doors and windows, and repairing existing structures as needed.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment
- Knowledge of wood properties and finishing techniques
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Indian nationality preferred

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings or specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Operate power saws, drills and other tools to cut and shape wood pieces
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings or trimmings using hand or power tools
- Repair damaged structures by replacing broken parts or reinforcing weak areas with new material
- Sand surfaces smooth using hand sanders or power sanders
- Apply varnish, stain or paint on finished products according to design specifications
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality standards

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Salalah

Contract job - duration depends on project requirements

No English required - proficiency in Hindi preferred
