Financial Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team in Muscat. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. Your role will also involve budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making
- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management team
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
