Indian Executive Chef in Muscat
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Muscat. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a high standard of food safety and sanitation. Your creativity, leadership skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring our customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that are unique, innovative and reflect the restaurant's concept
- Purchase ingredients within budget while maintaining high quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and manage inventory effectively
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine and ability to create authentic dishes with modern twists
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High level of creativity and attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Valid work permit for Oman (free visa provided)
