Instrument Technician


We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, performing regular maintenance checks, and ensuring all equipment is in compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience working with a variety of instruments such as gauges, meters, and sensors. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Perform calibration procedures on instruments
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience working as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience working with a variety of instruments such as gauges, meters, sensors, etc.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
