Crane Operator



We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials, equipment and machinery on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower or overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy objects on construction sites.
- Read and interpret lifting plans and safety procedures.
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Safely rig and attach loads to crane hooks using appropriate equipment.
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew during lifting operations.
- Monitor crane operations to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes including cleaning, lubricating and repairing any minor issues.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including lifts performed, maintenance performed, fuel usage etc.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Crane Operator in the construction industry.
- Valid crane operator license or certification from a recognized training institute.
- Knowledge of crane safety procedures and ability to operate cranes in a safe manner.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Ability to work at heights in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills with fluency in English.

Offer:
This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. The successful candidate must be an Indian national who is able to speak English fluently.
