Welder
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Muscat. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal parts for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders
- Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Repair damaged or worn metal parts by using appropriate welding techniques
- Ensure all welded parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company procedures and regulations
- Communicate with supervisors to report progress, issues, or concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Skilled in operating various welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and ARC welders
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as GTAW, GMAW, SMAW
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if required
- Valid work visa for Oman is preferred but not mandatory
