Office Assistant (Indian Nationals) in Muscat
We are hiring an Indian national to join our team as an Office Assistant in Muscat. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Maintain office supplies and order new supplies when needed
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Draft and format documents, letters, and reports using Microsoft Office
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Keep track of office expenses and prepare expense reports
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, etc.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office at all times
Requirements:
- Indian national with valid residency in Muscat
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (Arabic is a plus)
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail with good time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working hours: This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
Salary: 1600$ per month (pro-rata for part-time)
Note: This job does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own accommodation in Muscat.
