Cashier for Busy Retail Store in Nizwa, Oman


Our retail store in Nizwa is seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. This is a full-time position, with no accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Accept payments in cash, credit, or debit
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Ensure accurate pricing of products on shelves and in the system
- Keep track of inventory levels and alert management when stock is low
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store appearance
- Follow all safety and security procedures to prevent theft and fraud

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier preferred but not required
- Must be fluent in English, knowledge of Nepali language is a plus
- Customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating change and discounts
- Attention to detail for scanning products accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
Our store is located in Nizwa, Oman. This position is open to all nationalities, but preference will be given to Nepali candidates.
