Executive Chef


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Nizwa, Oman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, staff management, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative menus that reflect the resort's concept and cater to the diverse tastes of our guests
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, and cost control measures to ensure efficient operation within budget
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Continuously monitor guest satisfaction levels through regular communication and feedback from guests
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star hotel or luxury resort setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided on-site at the resort.
