Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nizwa. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This position requires experience with electrical and mechanical systems, as well as strong troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, including accommodation. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Install new instruments as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols in industrial settings
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:
- Background in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries
- Experience working with control systems such as PLCs or DCSs
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques
