Merchandising Coordinator

As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the production and distribution of goods for our company in Khasab. Your main duties will include managing inventory levels, monitoring sales trends, and working closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products. You will also be responsible for conducting market research and analyzing consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in merchandising or a related field, be proficient in English, and possess a biometric passport. Accommodation can be provided for foreign candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Analyze sales trends and consumer behavior to identify potential areas for growth
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and sales to develop effective merchandising strategies
- Maintain accurate records of product information, pricing, and inventory levels
- Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding order status, changes, or issues
- Work closely with the production team to ensure quality control standards are met
- Stay updated on current market conditions, consumer preferences, and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in merchandising or a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management software is a plus
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
