Entry-Level Accountant


Position Summary:
Our growing accounting firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures
• Support the senior accountants with various tasks as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or work experience in an accounting role is a plus
• Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP is preferred
• Familiarity with Oman tax laws and regulations is a plus
