Welder - Entry Level


We are hiring a Welder for our company located in Al Buraymi. This is an entry level position suitable for individuals without prior experience in welding. We offer a competitive salary of $1100 along with accommodation and visa sponsorship. This is an urgent job opportunity, so we are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately.

As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. You will work with different types of metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to fabricate and repair structures and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to the project requirements
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by removing any rust or debris
- Use various welding techniques to join metal pieces together
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and structural integrity
- Inspect finished welds to detect any defects or imperfections
- Repair or reinforce existing structures or machinery as needed
- Follow all safety protocols when handling equipment and working in hazardous environments

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience in welding is not required but considered an asset
- Familiarity with different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Physical strength to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to detect defects in finished welds
