Merchandiser
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product displays and promotions to attract customers and increase sales.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for promoting and selling products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking based on customer demand
- Plan and execute product displays in accordance with company standards
- Ensure that products are priced accurately and appealingly displayed
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and promotional opportunities
- Train store staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for pricing, promotions, or product updates to stay competitive in the market
- Track sales data and analyze results to make informed decisions about future merchandising strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis
- Knowledge of retail industry trends and consumer behavior
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Salary: 1200$ per month. This is a full-time position based in Manama. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Bahrain.
