Librarian

As a Librarian, your main responsibility will be to manage and maintain the library collection at our prestigious institution in Muharraq. You will be responsible for organizing and cataloging books, journals, and other materials, as well as assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries. Your role will also involve creating engaging displays and promoting library events to increase patron engagement.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, along with previous experience working in a library setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position. You must also possess excellent communication skills to effectively assist patrons with their information needs.

In addition to your primary duties, you will also be expected to stay up-to-date with current trends in library science and implement new technologies and resources to improve the overall user experience. Knowledge of digital libraries and online databases is highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month along with visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. This position is open to all genders, however, male candidates are preferred.
