Location: Al-Malikiyah, Syria

Salary: 1100$ per month



A skilled carpenter is needed to join our team in Al-Malikiyah. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, metal or other materials. You must have a strong understanding of construction methods and tools to ensure the highest quality work.

Responsibilities:

- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim work, etc.
- Build wooden furniture, cabinets and other items
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers and architects to ensure project success
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Hands-on experience with carpentry tools such as saws, levels and drills
- Good understanding of wood properties and other construction materials
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and long hours of standing
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship is a plus
