Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in the production and processing of oil and gas. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions to ensure smooth operations. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of various instruments and control systems used in the oil and gas industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic language skills is a plus)
- Physically fit to perform duties such as climbing ladders or lifting heavy equipment
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Dar Kulaib, Bahrain (accommodation provided)
