Instrument Technician

Position: Instrument Technician (Contract)

Location: Dar Kulaib, Bahrain

Salary: $1700 per month

We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Dar Kulaib on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain and repair various types of instruments and control systems including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level transmitters and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument issues, perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Read technical drawings and manuals to understand instrument specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of spare parts.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a similar role.
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of various types of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, level transmitters and control valves.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with calibration techniques and procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
