Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at our luxurious bakery in Dar Kulaib. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our customers. Your role will also involve supervising and training a team of pastry cooks to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in all our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new pastry recipes that appeal to our customer base.
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes.
- Oversee the production process to ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of pastry cooks on proper techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies needed for daily production.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that meets health code standards.
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items or special event menus.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end bakery or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to create visually appealing pastries with attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate others.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation.
- Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and flavor combinations.
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education/Certifications:
A degree or certificate in Culinary Arts or Patisserie from an accredited culinary school is preferred. Certification in food safety is also desirable.
Salary:
1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
