Long Haul Truck Driver



As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances while ensuring their safe and timely delivery. You will be based in Isa Town, Bahrain and will receive a salary of $1600 per month along with accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure their safety and report any mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using two-way radios or mobile phones
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure proper functioning of all systems
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow safety protocols while driving, loading/unloading cargo, and handling hazardous materials

Requirements:
- Valid truck driving license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Physical strength to load/unload cargo weighing up to 50lbs
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems
- Good communication skills in English
- Biometric passport for international travel
