Pastry Chef - Isa Town, Bahrain


We are in need of a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Isa Town, Bahrain. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our dessert menu, as well as overseeing all aspects of pastry production in the kitchen. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in creating visually stunning and delicious desserts that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and innovative dessert recipes that align with the restaurant's theme and standards
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including ordering ingredients, preparing ingredients, baking, decorating, plating, and ensuring timely delivery of desserts to customers
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to ensure consistency in quality and presentation of desserts
- Stay updated on current industry trends and techniques to continuously improve dessert offerings
- Work closely with the Head Chef to create cohesive menus that complement each other

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, equipment usage, and safety procedures
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts that also deliver on taste
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior chefs
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high levels of quality control
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred but not required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a fine dining establishment
- Knowledge of Bahraini cuisine is an advantage but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1100$ per month (based on experience) along with attractive benefits such as medical insurance, annual leave, and visa sponsorship.
