Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our multinational company in Vianden. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily financial operations of our company. This includes preparing financial statements, analyzing and interpreting financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
