Accountant for Financial Services Company in Vianden, Luxembourg

We are in search of an experienced Accountant to join our financial services company in Vianden, Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and laws
- Work closely with the finance team to develop budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes
- Prepare tax returns and assist with audits as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- CPA certification or working towards certification
- Experience in the financial services industry
