Crane Operator
Location: Vianden, Luxembourg


We are hiring a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Vianden, Luxembourg. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to move materials on construction sites or in industrial areas. You will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the crane equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to safety regulations and manufacturer's instructions
- Inspect crane equipment before and after each use to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to determine the best location for crane placement
- Use hand signals or two-way radios to communicate with ground crew during operations
- Lift, move, and position materials using the crane's control levers and pedals
- Ensure that all loads are properly secured before lifting
- Monitor load weights to prevent overloading the crane
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including maintenance and repairs performed on the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid certification as a Crane Operator from a recognized training institute
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Good understanding of crane mechanics, including electrical systems, hydraulics, and rigging techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Physical strength and stamina to operate controls for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime if needed
