Building Surveyor

We are looking for a qualified Building Surveyor to join our team in Vianden. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction techniques and building regulations, as well as experience in conducting site inspections and preparing reports. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assessing the condition of existing buildings, providing advice on maintenance and repair work, and ensuring that new construction projects comply with regulations. This is an urgent position with a salary of 1500$, and English proficiency is not required. Accommodation will not be provided for foreign candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting site inspections to assess the condition of buildings
- Preparing detailed reports on building defects and necessary repairs
- Providing advice on maintenance and repair work to clients
- Ensuring that new construction projects comply with building regulations
- Conducting research on materials, techniques, and construction methods
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in construction projects
- Attending meetings with clients to discuss project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or civil engineering (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Building Surveyor or related role
- Strong understanding of building regulations and construction techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and tools (e.g. laser levels)
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently
