Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Al Buraymi. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our guests. Your role will also involve supervising and training kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods using fresh ingredients
- Develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
- Ensure all food production meets or exceeds established standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in pastry techniques and proper food handling
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting
- Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts that taste as good as they look
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Able to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary: $1100 per month (tax-free) with additional benefits including accommodation, meals, transportation, medical insurance, and annual flight tickets.
