Executive Chef
We are in search of a talented Executive Chef to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Clairvaux. Our ideal candidate should have a strong passion for food and cooking, as well as the ability to lead and manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menus and dishes while ensuring quality and consistency
- Oversee kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to sanitation and safety standards
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special event menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing new dishes while staying true to the restaurant's concept
- Knowledge of best practices for food safety, sanitation, and hygiene
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.
