Mason for Construction Company in Clairvaux, France

We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our dynamic construction team in the beautiful city of Clairvaux, France. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures made of brick, concrete blocks, stone and other similar materials. Your primary duties will include laying and aligning bricks, building corners, arches and other structures according to blueprints or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and repair structures made of brick, concrete blocks, stone and other similar materials
- Prepare surfaces prior to beginning work by performing necessary measurements
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or specifications
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto a slab or foundation
- Align bricks using plumb lines, gauges or levels
- Cut or saw bricks to fit around windows or doors as needed
- Finish mortar joints using trowels or jointers
- Clean excess mortar from brick surfaces using brush or trowel
- Repair cracks in foundation walls using caulking gun or sealant

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of masonry materials and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, levels and jointers
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in English is preferred but not required. Fluency in Malayalam language is also preferred due to our large number of Malayalee employees.
