Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Remish, Kenya)


We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in the vibrant city of Remish, Kenya. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in our menu offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that showcase local ingredients and international flavors
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that dishes are prepared to perfection
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and promotions
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and recipes
- Creative approach to menu development with a strong commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this full-time position.
