Head Chef for Indian Restaurant in Remish
We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our team at our authentic Indian restaurant in Remish. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and ensuring the quality of food and service meets our high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the daily operations of the kitchen
- Create menus that showcase traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards are met
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, flavors, and techniques
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating new dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1500 per month
