Crane Operator

Operate cranes to lift, move, position and place machinery, equipment and other large objects at construction sites, ports, warehouses and other locations. Follow safety procedures to ensure safe operation of the crane. Inspect crane for any defects or malfunctions before operation. Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios to ensure safe movement of materials. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and equipment maintenance. Must have experience operating various types of cranes such as mobile, tower or overhead cranes. Must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is preferred.
