We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in the picturesque city of Wiltz. As the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of our culinary operations, from menu creation to kitchen management. Responsibilities:
- Create and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends and cater to our diverse clientele
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget while maintaining high standards of quality
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and sanitation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or themed dinners
- Constantly strive for improvement in food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisines, cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating presentations
- Experience in menu planning, costing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering top-notch quality food
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
