Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delectable desserts and pastries for our restaurant in Dickirch. Your passion for baking and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering high-quality treats that will delight our customers. You will work closely with our kitchen team to develop new recipes and ensure that all pastry items are prepared and presented according to our standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and other dessert items
- Decorate pastries using various icings, glazes, and fillings
- Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Creative flair for developing new recipes and menu items
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or early mornings as needed
Salary: 1100$ per month
