Executive Chef

We are hiring an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and creating delicious and innovative dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both creative and cost-effective
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee inventory control, ordering, and budget management
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and implement new techniques or recipes to enhance menu offerings
- Ensure customer satisfaction by responding to feedback and resolving any issues promptly

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Experience in menu planning, budget management, and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi but we welcome applicants from all nationalities.

Accommodation:
