Restaurant Manager



We are currently hiring a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant in Nairobi. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including food preparation, customer service, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Train and manage staff members, including scheduling shifts, providing feedback and guidance, and handling any disciplinary issues.
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service by greeting them upon arrival, taking their orders accurately and efficiently, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards of taste and appearance.
- Manage inventory levels by ordering supplies as needed and conducting regular stock checks to prevent shortages.
- Create and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers while retaining existing ones.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment by enforcing health codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items or improve existing ones based on customer feedback.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
- A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Salary:

1100$ per month (negotiable depending on experience)
