Indian Chef - English Speaking (Nairobi, Kenya)


We are seeking a talented Indian Chef who is fluent in English to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant. Your main goal will be to satisfy our customers' taste buds and provide them with an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and our restaurant's standards
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and spices
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food

Salary:
