Construction Project Manager


As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in the city of Nairobi. Your main role will be to plan, organize, and lead construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and monitor progress throughout the construction process
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Review and approve project budgets, including cost estimates and material lists
- Source materials and equipment needed for construction projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Monitor construction progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project duration
- Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software
