Entry-Level Welder - Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Entry-Level Welder to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As an Entry-Level Welder, you will be responsible for performing basic welding tasks under the guidance of experienced welders. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with little to no experience in the welding industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced welders in setting up and operating welding equipment
- Perform basic welding tasks such as cutting, grinding, and welding metal pieces together
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Inspect completed welds for quality assurance

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational training program in welding preferred
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
- Team player with strong communication skills

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1200$ per month, with opportunities for growth within the company.

City:
This position is located in Nairobi, Kenya. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already living in Nairobi.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents willing to obtain their own work visa.

Note:
No English language skills are required for this position. However, fluency in English would be an asset.
