Entry Level Mason - Nairobi, Kenya


We are currently seeking an Entry Level Mason to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones.

Responsibilities:
- Mixing mortar and plaster according to specific ratios
- Laying bricks or stones in a neat and orderly manner
- Cutting materials to fit specific dimensions and angles
- Using hand tools and equipment such as trowels, levels, and hammers
- Repairing damaged masonry work
- Ensuring that all work meets safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Communicating with supervisors and other team members regarding progress and any issues that arise

Requirements:
- No prior experience required; training will be provided on the job
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and tools
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work in different weather conditions
- Must be willing to live on-site at the construction site provided by the company

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month. Accommodation will also be provided by the company.

Contract:
This is a full-time contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
