Housekeeping Supervisor


We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Nairobi. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that all rooms and common areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month, and we welcome Indian candidates who do not require English proficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and quality
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Coordinate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with scheduling and payroll for housekeeping staff

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others effectively
- Excellent communication skills in order to interact with guests and other departments
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
