Power Engineer in Nairobi, Kenya


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment for various projects. Your main objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of electricity to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing power systems and equipment for different projects
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for new power projects
- Developing technical specifications and drawings for power equipment
- Overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of power systems
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions in the power system
- Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure optimal performance of the power system
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to achieve project goals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Power Engineer
- Knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD or ETAP
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this contract position. Accommodation will not be provided.
